Our Story

Mc Menamin Commercials is a family-run and owned business, situated on the outskirts of Letterkenny, County Donegal.

Founder Seamus McMenamin established the business in 1991,  having served his HGV apprenticeship wit C.I.E. and going on to work as a mechanic with Donegal County Council. Seamus had many years experience within the industry and eventually decided to go into business himself.

Seamus purchased Our site in 1984, and we expanded into full-time operation in 1994.

We are now a one stop shop for all things commercial vehicle may it be sales, repairs, recovery or training.

With over 30 years in the commercial vehicle industry our business has grown significantly, in return this has led to  knock on growth in our services, we are now authorized distributors for Renault Trucks & Vans, Broshuis trailers and Meiller Trailers.

Our team cater for all aspects of commercial vehicle sales & repairs. With this in mind we expanded our operation to offer 24-hour roadside assistance as well as 24-hour recovery and vehicle transportation services.

Further growth over the years has seen the addition of our training facilities, in 2006 we introduced Advance Driver Training, Through this platform our RSA approved driving instructors provide courses for those looking to learn to drive cars, rigid trucks, Arctic trucks, and coaches aswell as providing driver associated course’s such as Driver CPC.
